The following legislation were duly approved on Third and Final Reading during the 4^th Regular Session of the 20^th City Council, to wit:

Further, the Body approved under Suspended Rules the following measures, viz:

          Resolution No. 04096-25, Series of 2025, was likewise approved through a Privilege Motion presented by Councilor Bonz Andre A. Militar, entitled “Urging the Telecommunication Companies to Diligently Oversee and Maintain their Cable Infrastructure, Promptly Address and Rectify Any Safety Hazards or Potential Risks and Endorsing the Matter to the Committee on Information and Technology to Conduct an Inquiry Into the Incident, in Aid of Legislation”.

 

To address some of the Body’s queries regarding the High Priority Bus System (HPBS), ongoing flyover construction, and the traffic issues in the City of Davao, representatives from the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) were invited to shed light on the matter.

During the 3rd Regular Session held on January 21, 2025, the 20^th City Council passed and approved the following on Second Reading, to wit:

            Finally, the following measures were approved under Suspended Rules, viz:

            In view of the privilege speech of Councilor Conrado C. Baluran, the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO), the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB XI), the Department of Public Works and Highways XI (DPWH XI) and the Department of Transportation XI (DOTr XI) were invited to the next regular session to apprise the Body on the traffic situation in the City as well as provide update on the unfinished roadworks in Maa and Ulas, this City, and the status of the High Priority Bus System (HPBS) Project of the City.

 

On its 2^nd Regular Session held on January 14, 2025, the 20^th City Council passed and approved the following legislation, viz:

The current Indigenous People’s Mandatory Representative (IPMR), Councilor Rodolfo Mande, stated during his Privilege Hour that he will serve in a hold-over capacity until the next IPMR Representative is duly elected by the Council of Elders by the city’s eleven major tribes.

For the first Regular Session of the New Year 2025, the 20th City Council passed and approved the following measures under Suspended Rules, to wit:

The following legislation were approved on Third and Final Reading by the 20^th City Council during its 48th Regular Session held on December 12, 2024, to wit:

Finally, Resolution No. 03912-24, Series of 2024, was approved by the Body under Suspended Rules, “Commending SM Prime Holdings for being the Pioneer in Granting Free Movie Access for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Davao City Following the Approval of Davao City Ordinance No. 0155-23, S. 2023, also known as the “Persons with Disabilities Free Movie Privilege Ordinance”.

During the 47th Regular Session held on December 10, 2024, the Council approved the following measures, viz:

 

Lastly, Resolution No. 03721-24, Series of 2024, was approved under Suspended Rules, “Commending Colonel Darren E. Comia for his exemplary and valuable service during his tenure as the Commander of Task Force Davao”.

The 20^th City Council held its 44^th Regular Session on November 26, 2024  and approved on Third and Final Reading, Ordinance No. 0699-24, Series of 2024, entitled “An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 0419-20, Series of 2020, entitled “An Ordinance Regulating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Remotely Piloted Aerial Units (RPAUs) or Any Remotely Piloted Aerial System (RPAs) in the City of Davao” also known as the “Drone Regulation Ordinance of Davao City”, to include provisions about the Penalties, No Contest Provision, and Citation Tickets”.

The following measures were adopted on Second Reading, to wit:

Ordinance No. 0698-24, Series of 2024, was approved by the 20^th City Council on Third and Final Reading during its 43^rd Regular Session held on November 19, 2024, entitled “An Ordinance granting legislative authority to Supplemental Budget No. 2 of the City Government of Davao for Calendar Year 2024, comprising the Budget under the General Fund Proper, the Development Fund, and the Economic Enterprises in the total amount of Six Hundred Thirty-Eight Million, Nine Hundred Six Thousand, Six Hundred Ninety-Two Pesos and 47/100 (Php 638,906,692.47)”.

 

The Body likewise approved Resolution No. 03566-24, Series of 2024, and its corresponding Ordinance on Second Reading, entitled “Enacting an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 0419-20, Series of 2020, entitled “An Ordinance regulating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Remotely Piloted Aerial Units (RPAUs), or any Remotely Piloted Aerial System (RPAS), in the City of Davao” also known as the Drone Regulating Ordinance of Davao City, to include provisions about the penalties, no contest provision, and citation tickets”.

 

Finally, Resolution No. 03575-24, Series of 2024, Commending and Congratulating the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for bringing the “Light the World Giving Machines” to Davao City and promoting a culture of generosity and compassion; and Resolution No. 03576-24, Series of 2024, Commending the City Registrar’s Office of Davao City for its exemplary initiative in intensifying Civil Registration Services through the implementation of the Indigenous Peoples Civil Registration System and the availability of Civil Registration Services in Barangays and Schools.
