The following legislative measures were approved by the 20^th City Council on Second Reading during its 9^th Regular Session held on March 7, 2023, viz:

Meanwhile, the candidates of the Reyna Dabawenya, Mr. and Ms. LGU Davao 2023 and Mutya ng Dabaw paid a courtesy call at the Session Hall of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, through the Privilege Hour of Councilor Al Ryan S. Alejandre. After a two-year hiatus, the City Government of Davao through the Davao City Tourism Operations Office finally present to Dabawenyos the founding anniversary in full circle. Thus, these three major events of the City will be having its Coronation night this upcoming March 15-17, 2023, respectively.

            Lastly, Resolution No. 0985-23 and its Ordinance No. 0172-23, all Series of 2023, were approved during Suspended Rules, entitled “Enacting an Ordinance authorizing the City Mayor to enter into and sign, for and in behalf of the City of Davao, the Service Contracting   Agreement to be entered into by and between the City of Davao and various bus operators relative to the implementation of the Peak Hour Augmentation Bus Service (PHABs) on selected Special Areas in Davao City”.

 

During the 8^th Regular Session, the 20^th City Council passed and approved the following Ordinances, to wit:

Further, the Body likewise approved Resolution Nos. 0958-23 to 0967-23, all Series of 2022, relative to the Applications for Local Government Unit accreditation of the following cooperatives and Civil Society Organizations namely: Daliao Kanipaan Fisherfolks Association, D.U.H.A. Fisherfolks and Women’s Association, Kalayaan Fisherfolks and Vendor’s Association, Daliao Gardeners & Fisherfolk Association, Daliao Kalubin-an Fisherfolks Women’s Association, Daliao Vendors Fisherfolk Women’s Pantalan Association, Daliao Pogi Lawis & Lipadas Fisherfolk Women’s Association, St. Jude Daliao Fisherfolks Women’s Association, Daliao Fisherdfolks Informal Settlers Women’s Association and Federation of Fisherfolks.

Lastly, the following legislation were approved under Suspended Rules, to wit:

On its 7^th Regular Session held on February 21, 2023, the 20^th City Council passed and approved on Second Reading, Resolution No. 0921-23, Series of 2023, enacting an Ordinance Instituting and Implementing Registration of Ownership and Inventory of Agricultural and Fisheries Machinery and Equipment within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Davao City.
