With Acting Vice Mayor Rodrigo S. Duterte II presiding, the following legislation were passed and approved by the 21st City Council during their Inaugural Session held on July 1, 2025, to wit:
The Body likewise approved Resolution No. 0005-25, Series of 2025, “Nominating the Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, and Members of the Standing Committees of the 21st City Council”, to wit:
Immediately after the election of the Sanggunian Officers, the oath taking administered by Atty. Charizma Cortez-Catague, a Notary Public for and in behalf of Davao City, followed. The designation of Mr. Jim C. Operario as Sergeant-at-Arms was then approved by virtue of the passage of Resolution No. 0007-25, Series of 2025. After the Inaugural Speeches of the newly-elected City Councilors, Resolution No. 0008-25, Series of 2025, authored by Councilor Luna Maria Dominique S. Acosta, entitled “Amending Rule 7, Section 34, of the House Rules of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Davao City, changing the time of the Regular Session to 1:00 P.M., was passed and approved.
