On its 19th Regular Session held on May 23, 2025, the 20^th City Council approved on Third and Final Reading, Ordinance No. 0825-25, Series of 2025, “An Ordinance Naming the Road at Puroks 1, 2, and 3-Balite, Calinan Poblacion, Calinan District, this City, to “Simeon V. Latayan Street” and Ordinance No. 0826-25, Series of 2025, “An Ordinance Naming the Road Alley from Calinan Fire Station to Abayon Subdivision as “Crispulo M. Lasay Street, Calinan, Davao City”.

Finally, Resolution No. 04318-25 and its corresponding Ordinance No. 0820-25, both Series of 2025, were approved under Suspended Rules, entitled “Enacting an Ordinance Authorizing the City Mayor to Enter Into and Sign, For and in Behalf of the City of Davao, the Memorandum of Agreement to be Entered Into By and Between the City of Davao and the Department of Education-Region XI, Relative to the Support of the Former to the Latter for the 2025 Palarong Pambansa Amounting to Six Million Pesos (P6,000,000.00).

Finally, the Body approved Resolution No. 04250-25, Series of 2025, “Expressing the 20^th City Council’s condolences for the passing away of Pope Francis” and Resolution No. 04251-25, Series of 2025, “Nominating Councilor Demetrio B. Bolo Sr. as Chairperson of the Committee on Indigenous People, Cultural Communities and Muslim Affairs.

Immediately after the election of Councilor Demetrio B. Bolo, as Chairperson of the Committee on Indigenous Peoples, Cultural & Communities and Muslim Affairs, he took his oath before Vice Mayor J. Melchor B. Quitain Jr. as the new Chairperson of the mentioned committee.
